Extensive Hake notes from JLP… Boomerang. Silent Prayer. No free will. Breaking up vs “making a relationship work.” ….

JLP Hr 1  Boomerang in your life: Thinking. Lord's Prayer vs Silent Prayer. Church Super

BQ MONOLOGUE: The boomerang in your life can be: You still believe in thoughts; they get you in trouble because you think you know what you know. Then you go back to thoughts for the answer to your situation. Or: You think you’re over anger, then you get angry again, and you say, Wow, I thought I was over anger. Or: Food, sex, whatever… not realizing thinking the thing is the problem.

The boomerang is you keep thinking, you think you’re gonna think your way out of these situations. You think you’ll get married, and that’ll make you happy. The non-you tells yourself you’ll divorce, get out of the marriage, “and then I’ll be happy.” All you’re doing is thinking yourself into deep situations, and never overcoming. And then you say, I’m gonna become a religious person, and know about the Lord. You quote scriptures on what you think about the Lord, but inwardly, you’re still miserable.

You keep boomeranging right back to where you started. You never question the thoughts. Why am I doing this? Why do I feel this way? Why do I attack others when it’s in me? ALL of your situations, problems, issues. All your situations are in the cage you’re living in… Even when you think you’re hurting others, you’re in your cage hurting yourself. Who is the person you’re talking about that’s offended? If you think it, you don’t see it. You have no real issues. You can lay your weapons down.

Those joining with the Palestinians fight against those joining the Jews. Not one can honestly tell you why they’re fighting, other than what they’ve been told — they’ve been told to take a side. Their fight won’t solve one problem. But they’re mad at one another, trying to hurt one another, over opinions fed to them! It’s all about you, never about anyone else. In reality, it’s getting rid of anything white — white Jews, white Christians, occupying the land. White people are occupiers, took the land from the Indians, the Palestinians… Brainwashed… The [suckers] fighting won’t get the land!

They sacrifice citizens’ lives! They’ll let you get killed! Depends on which side you’re on whom you feel bad for, versus feeling nothing for others. See how phony and evil that is? You don’t pay attention to yourself, really and truly to see the evil and game played upon you — all of your ideas, plans, thoughts, are not your own. You’re being controlled. We’re all created by God. Who’s causing you to fight with your fellowman? Jesus said pray for your fellowman, but the Devil said: Hurt your fellowman.

Feeling good and feeling bad are both evil. If a person would turn on one person, they’ll turn on the next — they’ll turn on you! Bank on it. No matter who.

Bank on this: God’s Kingdom is not in time: Not yesterday, not tomorrow. It’s right here, right now. It’s always now, never the future or the past. Stop letting time (of the Devil, evil) steal your now. You don’t have to let it steal your present. You’re too lazy to keep aware. Do the Silent Prayer, morning and night. Keep your mind with your body. The mind cannot conceive the things of God. You want a thoughtless life. A life without thinking about it. But just live it.

Let yourself descend down into hell, so you can rise and live. As long as you protect it, you’ll remain in hell.

They don’t care if a bum or terrorist or criminal kills you, etc. People getting killed all the time — the govt, the media, and even you don’t care. Smash and grab. Borders wide open. War. Oil prices going up. The gov’t is talking about giving more money to Israel, Palestine, Ukraine, etc. Doing nothing at home. No money for cops, borders, deporting illegals, stopping the drugs. It’s like a family man meeting another woman who has children — and he goes and feeds her children. Meanwhile his own children and wife are starving.

Make you wanna cuss. … If you don’t love all, you love none. Inflicting hell on one another…  //

Brand new Biblical Question: To whom or what are you loyal, and why?  //

GREAT CALL with a man asking about the Lord’s Prayer, if it’s whooping and hollering… He appreciates the Silent Prayer.  //

JLP Hr 2  No free will, even Batman. Caller wants to breakup but wants to make it work.

You don’t have a free will. Scientist confirms. Even Batman (Hake vs Jesse on 60s show melody) didn’t have a free will: Adam West caught that mama hate! She was a mess. He turned to alcohol. Anger is a trauma. You’re not stuck in it. Adam did the same as his father, got married with a woman who cheated on him. …  //

Tate in GA asks if JLP ever broke up with a woman — ended a relationship. He’s considering breaking it off with a woman he’s been living with, been together over 5 years, no kids. He hopes it works out. Why? He thinks a relationship requires work. Woman counselor, “She got good reviews and credential, I dunno.” FUNNY.

One of the biggest lies told to human beings is that you can make a relationship work. Either it will work out or it won’t. You can’t make another human being be right. You can’t even make yourself right. The good times are the evil times! …

Forgave mother … You don’t wanna meditate, you wanna observate. …  //

Israel-Hamas war DRAMA

(CNN or theSkimm Mon. 10/23/23) Concerns of further escalation in this Israel-Hamas war.

In response to the October 7th terror attack, Israel launched airstrikes in Gaza and the West Bank – thousands killed. The strike at a mosque in the West Bank is a rare move for Israel. The Israeli military claims the strike was designed to thwart an “imminent terror attack.” Palestinians worry violence is spreading. The US and European governments reportedly pushing Israel to hold off on ground invasion of Gaza, hoping to secure the release of an estimated 200 hostages still held by Hamas. Two “American” hostages released: Judith Raanan and her 17-year-old daughter Natalie. As the war rages on, the humanitarian crisis in Gaza is worsening, even as limited aid made its way through the Rafah crossing with Egypt. Doctors are reportedly performing surgeries on the floor without enough anesthesia. Israel warned Palestinians in northern Gaza to evacuate again but many are struggling to find anywhere safe to go. All of the tensions threaten to pull in other players in the Middle East.

All eyes are on Iran and its proxy militant groups in Lebanon and Syria. In Lebanon: the Iran-backed Hezbollah group has continued to exchange fire with Israeli forces in the north, leading Israel to evacuate tens of thousands of residents. In Syria, Israel reportedly fired missiles at the Damascus and Aleppo international airports — apparently taking them out of service. Meanwhile, Iran continues to threaten Israel directly, saying “anything is possible at any given moment.” Through all of it, the delicate peace between Israel and neighboring Arab states, like Egypt, continues to be tested.

Biden pretending to stand firmly with Israel — pushing for humanitarian aid to Gaza. The US has also sent aircraft carriers to the region and warned that American troops in the Middle East are facing an increasing risk of attack. At home, US public opinion polls show broad support for Israel in the wake of the deadly attacks — while rallies across NYC, LA, Chicago, and more drew thousands of protesters in support of Palestinians. The tensions have spilled beyond college campuses into corporate boardrooms and the entertainment industry.

  • French and Canadian intelligence have determined that last week's deadly hospital attack was due to a misfired rocket from Palestinian militants — mirroring assessments from the US, Israel, and media outlets, like the Associated Press.

  • The humanitarian crisis in Gaza is worsening, with hospitals running low on fuel, threatening those on incubators. Doctors say they have until tomorrow at the latest before the medical system collapses.

CNN: The US is seeking to delay an Israeli ground offensive in Gaza amid calls to free more hostages held there by Hamas and allow aid into the besieged enclave. A senior Israeli official told CNN there will be “no ceasefire” in Gaza, but emphasized efforts are ongoing to free the more than 200 hostages in the region “as quickly as possible.” However, the official added, “humanitarian efforts cannot be allowed to impact the mission to dismantle Hamas.” More than 4,600 people have been killed in Gaza since October 7 and over 14,200 others wounded, the health ministry there said.

Congress

(CNN or theSkimm Mon. 10/23/23) House Republicans are once again scrambling to elect a new speaker after voting to push Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan out of the race Friday — the latest sign of the chaos and divisions that have engulfed the majority party. Following Jordan’s exit, nine new candidates have entered the race for the gavel. Republican Rep. Tom Emmer, the House majority whip, received the backing of former Speaker Kevin McCarthy, delivering an early boost for his candidacy. Still, it remains to be seen which candidate can gather the support necessary from their conference to secure the 217 votes needed to end Congress’ ongoing dysfunction

Synagogue woman leader stabbed

(CNN or theSkimm Mon. 10/23/23) Police are searching for a motive in the death of a Detroit synagogue leader who was found fatally stabbed in her home. The body of Samantha Woll, president of the board of the Isaac Agree Downtown Synagogue, was discovered with multiple stab wounds on Saturday morning. As investigators continue to probe for a motive, police chief James E. White said Sunday no evidence has surfaced suggesting the killing was motivated by antisemitism. Friends and family also gathered Sunday during a packed funeral service to honor her legacy. Police have not identified a suspect in the case, and it’s still unclear what led to the killing.

Police shooting

(CNN or theSkimm Mon. 10/23/23) Authorities in Tennessee are searching for the estranged son of Nashville’s police chief as a suspect in the Saturday shooting of two suburban police officers. The suspect, John Drake Jr., is now wanted on two counts of attempted first-degree murder and is considered “armed and very dangerous.” Metro Nashville Police Chief John Drake said that he was “shocked and deeply saddened” to learn that the suspect is his son. “Despite my efforts and guidance in the early and teenage years, my son, John Drake Jr., now 38 years old, resorted to years of criminal activity and is a convicted felon,” the chief said. The officers, who have both been with the force for less than three years, are expected to recover from their injuries.

Student loan brainwashed leeches

(CNN or theSkimm Mon. 10/23/23) Although the Supreme Court struck down President Joe Biden’s hallmark student loan forgiveness program in June, his administration has found ways to cancel more than $48 billion in debt since then. The cancellations have come through existing federal student loan forgiveness programs, which are limited to specific categories of borrowers, such as public-sector workers, people defrauded by for-profit colleges, and borrowers who have paid for at least 20 years. The Biden administration has been granting that debt forgiveness on a rolling basis and has discharged a total of $127 billion for nearly 3.6 million people to date. Meanwhile, Biden’s Republican critics say that at least some of his debt relief actions are illegal and are an attempt to circumvent the Supreme Court’s ruling.

Old world cup legend died

(CNN or theSkimm Mon. 10/23/23) RIP Bobby Charlton, the Manchester United great who played a starring role in England’s 1966 World Cup victory, has died, the Premier League club said on Saturday. He was 86. Charlton is widely considered one of the greatest soccer players of all time. =

Argentina elections

(CNN or theSkimm Mon. 10/23/23) 25 million Argentinians cast their ballots in the country’s presidential election — a 75% turnout amid a severe economic crisis. Following the first round of voting Sunday, the battle now heads to a runoff next month between left-wing candidate Sergio Massa and far-right libertarian Javier Milei. Massa received over 36% of the votes while Milei received roughly 30%.

NOT READ: theSkimm: Argentina. Yesterday, the South American country’s presidential election ended with no winner — setting the stage for a runoff next month. Predictions for yesterday’s election had far-right economist Javier “El Loco” Milei — also compared to former President Trump — coming out on top. But it was Economy Minister Sergio Massa of Argentina's ruling Peronist party who took the lead. Still, neither candidate got 45% of the votes needed to win the election. Now, voters will have to decide who can best tackle Argentina’s triple-digit inflation, plunging currency, and rising poverty.

NOT READ: Ongoing attack on Trump

(CNN or theSkimm Mon. 10/23/23) QUOTE: “He knows exactly what to say — and what not to say — so that he avoids jail.” — Mar-a-Lago member Anthony Pratt, saying in new recordings that then-President Donald Trump told him insider details about his phone calls with world leaders during his presidency. Pratt’s latest disclosures could be used by prosecutors as evidence that Trump had a pattern of sharing sensitive government information with unauthorized people, including political donors and well-connected businessmen in his orbit.

NOT READ: Iran “woman” drama

(CNN or theSkimm Mon. 10/23/23) Armita Geravand’s health: Yesterday, Iranian state media reported the 16-year-old is considered to be brain dead nearly a month after an alleged encounter with police. Earlier this month, human rights groups said Iran’s morality police allegedly assaulted Geravand for not wearing a headscarf at a subway station in Tehran. The government said Geravand fainted after a drop in her blood pressure, which caused her to hit her head. However, this story comes a little over a year after the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini triggered nationwide protests in Iran. There are concerns that the parallel in the two stories could lead to another round of protests in Iran.
