TOP OF FIRST HOUR NEWS: Thursday, May 23, 2019 –
(Drudge) MONSTER TORNADO STRIKES MISSOURI... CATASTROPHIC DAMAGE… (Daily Mail) 'It was a direct hit': Monster tornado tears through Jefferson City in Missouri causing 'catastrophic damage' and a 'mass casualty event' as twisters across the state kill three and the National Guard is called in. A 'Violent tornado' was confirmed in Jefferson City around 11.45pm on Wednesday. In a tweet National Weather Service warned residents in area to take 'shelter now!' Jefferson City Mayor Carrie Tergin issued evacuation for homes and the airport. The NWS said on Facebook that the tornado has 'produced extensive damage.' For the third consecutive day, dangerous storms prompted numerous tornado warnings and reports of twisters touching down in Missouri and Oklahoma. NWS said it had received 22 reports of tornadoes by late Wednesday evening. One of those tornadoes skirted a few miles north of Joplin, Missouri. Officials confirmed three deaths in Golden City area of Barton County and several injuries in Carl Junction in Jasper County from tornado that hit Joplin. The devastating tornadoes come on eighth anniversary of the catastrophic tornado that killed 161 people in Joplin, Missouri, in 2011. PEOPLE TRAPPED IN HOMES… or more specifically the wreckage of their homes…. (AP) Again the “violent tornado” has left at least 3 dead. There’s been several days of tornadoes and torrential rains in parts of the Southern Plains and Midwest.
(Drudge) UPDATE: 20 MILES OF 'WALL' BUILT (Daily Mail) A Homeland Security report says the Trump administration has built at least 20 miles of border wall (someone in our office was claiming not one inch was built! Doubter!) and has funding plans for 316 more miles (336 total) — and the White House claims they’re on track for 500 by next year — Trump promised this Monday night! WH Press Sec. Sarah Sanders actually says between 100-115 miles are already built. A large majority of the wall construction under contract from the Army Corps of Engineers is for replacements where barriers already existed. CBP says the money Congress gave the Obama administration for 2017 paid for 39.5 miles of wall; Trump became president in the middle of that fiscal year.
'INCORRECT FIGURE' (Mediaite) White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was challenged by the hosts of Fox & Friends as t0 why the leading story on the Drudge Report the other morning read, “WALL STALL: LESS THAN 2 MILES BUILT!” Brian Kilmeade asked. “What is going on there? Does the president still think he can get 400 miles done of the wall by the end of the year?”
“Absolutely, and that is an incorrect figure,” she said of the Drudge headline, which cites an article from Bloomberg that reports CBP has only placed 1.7 miles of new fencing per information given to a federal judge. “There’s far more than two miles have been built,” Sanders continued. “We’re still on track to get close to 500 miles built by the end of the year. The Army Corps of Engineers working with DHS and DOD are putting a tremendous amount of effort into not just building a new wall, but taking down some of the barriers that have existed that are completely ineffective, and putting in the very effective border wall they have been putting in the last couple months.” Again, she said “There is over 100 miles, I think, it is close to 115 miles have been finished.” 500 BY END OF YEAR? (Daily Mail) Trump got $1.57B from Congress for this year but insists ‘demolition and rebuilding’ should count too.

Joel reads Super Chats.
Patrick from New York, first-time caller, says Ilhan Omar was talking about Christians when she referred to them as “religious fundamentalists”! Then Patrick talks about his parents. He’s black. His father wants to live with him, due to inability to manage his life. Patrick’s in his 30s. His dad’s losing his house. He feels obligated and guilty but doesn’t want to do it. He tells stories of dealing with his father and mother. Today’s his birthday! He’s 33. He doesn’t consistently do the Silent Prayer. Suffer and die! He sounds white, and he talks about black. BORDER PATROL CHIEF OUT (Wash. Examiner) Border Patrol Chief Carla Provost to leave before year's end — leaving by December, maybe earlier! The first woman to lead the 95-year-old federal law enforcement agency, will retire by the year’s end, wrapping up her 24-year career. The 48-year-old lifetime Border Patrol employee has served as permanent chief for less than a year. She was acting chief from April 2017 through August 2018 and officially took over late last summer. She led the agency’s 20,000 employees during a turbulent time as the organization struggles to handle the more than half a million people apprehended while illegally crossing the U.S.-Mexico border in the first six-and-a-half months of fiscal 2019. Manuel "Manny" Padilla may take over when Provost leaves. Padilla is director of the Department of Homeland Security Joint Task Force West and served 30 years with Border Patrol. Hm. We’ll see!
BTW: On Monday, a 16-year-old unaccompanied Guatemalan boy died while in Border Patrol custody. The death marked the fourth minor to die in Customs and Border Protection custody this fiscal year and brought criticism from immigrant groups and Democratic lawmakers concerned about overcrowded conditions at government facilities on the southern border. Provost pointed out Border agents take the illegals through drive throughs and feed them on their own dime on the way in.
(Drudge) Trump vows no more legislation while under investigation… (CNBC) Trump says he won’t do an infrastructure bill while Democrats continue to investigate him. President Donald Trump abruptly walked out of a meeting with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., at the White House on Wednesday. The meeting was supposed to be the second official sit-down between the president and Democratic congressional leadership specifically focused on infrastructure. “I walked into the room and I told Sen. Schumer and Speaker Pelosi, ‘I want to do infrastructure’ I want to do it more than you want to do it. I’d be really good at that. That’s what I do. But you know what, you can’t do it under these circumstances,” Trump said at a last-minute Rose Garden event. Earlier, Pelosi said, “We believe the president of the United States is engaged in a cover-up” by blocking White House aides from cooperating with congressional subpoenas, etc.
'I don't do cover-ups'... Trump said Monday. (Mediaite) Trump also Attacked the Media in Surprise Presser, saying he’s been the “most transparent” president (true), and he’s been under a “witch hunt” (also true).
He expressed Disgust over 'I-word' talk… (Business Insider) Trump's so disgusted by Democrats talking about impeachment that he'll only call it the 'I-word.' House Democrats discussed the prospect of impeaching Trump in a caucus meeting earlier in the day. "This meeting was set up a number of days ago," Trump said in the Rose Garden. "All of a sudden, I hear last night they're going to have a meeting right before this meeting to talk about the 'I-word.' The 'I-word.' Can you imagine?"
For Pelosi, timing is perfect… Politico thinks Pelosi is so good at infuriating Trump, and that she “stands firm” against the president like few others. Yeah right! Written by two Beta Males! John Bresnahan and Burgess Everett. “She’s smarter than him, and she’s tougher than him, and I think that bothers him,” said Rep. Dan Kildee (D-Mich.), a Pelosi ally. “It's hard to get inside that head of his and figure out what drives him, other than an oversized ego and an undersized sense of ethics.” BETA! Here’s another: “Guess what? He behaves like a child. This is what we have in the White House now,” said Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), who served under Pelosi in the House. “I’m used to it. I’m not expecting a grown-up any longer. I’m not expecting him to grow into the role.” BETA! (This is all wishful thinking and underestimation as usual.)

TOP OF THIRD HOUR NEWS: Thursday, May 23, 2019 –
(Drudge) Feds charge Avenatti in dealings with Stormy Daniels… (ABC News) Feds bring new charges against lawyer Michael Avenatti for misappropriating nearly $300,000 from former client Stormy Daniels. Prosecutors said that he then used money he took from Daniels to make monthly payments on his Ferrari, as well as to cover airfare, dry cleaning, hotels and restaurant bills, as well as payroll and insurance costs for his law firm's employees. "Avenatti used misrepresentations and a fraudulent document purporting to bear his client's name and signature to convince his client's literary agent [for a book advance?] to divert money owed to Avenatti's client to an account controlled by Avenatti," Manhattan U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman said in a statement. "Avenatti then spent the money principally for his own personal and business purposes." Federal prosecutors in Manhattan -- who have already accused Avenatti of extortion in a case involving Nike -- also indicted him separately on extortion charges in the Nike case on Wednesday. Avenatti denied it all, saying the old porn actress "directly paid only $100.00 (not a typo) for all that she received." Allegedly he stole an advance on the client's book deal.
How Cable News Made Household Name… The Federalist’s Madeline Osburn lays out “How CNN & MSNBC” propped him up. Avenatti was interviewed on broadcast and cable news networks 214 times from March to November 2018… until his November 14 arrest for allegations of domestic abuse. The Media Research Center found that in a 10-week span last spring, from March to May, Avenatti was interviewed a whopping 147 times. In 2018, CNN gave him the most airtime, with 107 live interviews. MSNBC came in a close second at 81. Later in July and August, he began defending Central Americans who illegally crossed the U.S. border and were separated from their children in the process. Later in the fall he represented Julie Swetnick, a woman who accused Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh of gang rape. CNN hosts also supposedly invited him to their parties, and lauded his ambitions to run for president in 2020.
(Vanity Fair) His temper often flared when producers and bookers tried to vet stories he was involved in. “It felt like we were 'enabling a total rage-oholic. It was pathological'... one booker said! Avenatti told writer Emily Jane Fox that he can have a short fuse at times, but he quickly offloaded some of the responsibility: considering “how much hatred, vitriol, bullshit” he’s had to put up with, he thinks he’s “done a remarkably good job.” It’s not an excuse, he said. “I’ve been under a tremendous amount of pressure and I think I’ve done a very good job, but I haven’t been perfect by any stretch. If the charge is that I am a fiery, passionate guy at times, I’ll plead guilty to that.” BETA! Not near the pressure Trump is under!
(Drudge) Crime at MCDONALD's every 36 hours… (Bloomberg) McDonald's Workers Want OSHA to Investigate Pattern of Violence. Chicago employees call on McDonald’s for better protections. Protests planned this week ahead of company annual meeting. Every 36 hours on average, American local news outlets deliver a new report on violence at a McDonald’s. A group of employees in Chicago say workers bear the brunt of such incidents -- enough to constitute a pattern of regular on-the-job violence they want the company to address across the U.S. In a complaint filed with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration on Monday, the workers at one location described being threatened with guns, attacked with hot coffee and having to dodge food thrown by a disturbed customer. The employees and other Chicago-area workers, who are working with the union-backed Fight for $15 campaign (an evil socialist push), are also sending a letter asking OSHA to open a “systemic” investigation into the corporation’s handling of workplace violence in its thousands of U.S. locations.
Men’s Conference speakers confirmed: Jesse Lee Peterson, Owen Benjamin (comedian & social commentator), Brandon Tatum (ex-cop & co-founder of Blexit), Jacob Wohl (scorned by the creepy porn lawyer), and Comedian K-Von (featured on Netflx & Ted Talks). Javien from South Carolina calls back about being homosexual and people judging him. He accuses Jesse AND Jesus of making mistakes. He says he forgave his parents. But he tells the story of his mother deceiving him about who his real father was. He thought one man was his father, but he wasn’t! Jesse tells him that’s a trauma, and urges him to do the Silent Prayer. He got off-track on that. After Jesse finishes the call, he says, there is nothing you can’t overcome. But you must see that you’re wrong for “playing God.” If you don’t repent and be born again, you’ll still suffer.
New episode of TheFallenState.tv coming out tomorrow. Relationship panel!
Ron from Ohio disagrees that human beings don’t have free will. He thinks he makes his own decisions. He’s made bad decisions not knowing better, and says he’s not perfect because his “Creator” didn’t create him perfect. He says only Jesus was perfect. He accuses Jesse of being being beta for criticizing other religions like Muslims. He explains how he became a Christian.
Jonathan from Arizona asks what books Jesse read besides the Bible in waking up. Jesse says, “Drop your anger,” meaning that anger should not be in you at all. He’s 28, and has forgiven his mother. His father passed away. Do the Silent Prayer.
Scott from Colorado calls in and says he’s a slow learner.
JAMES AFTERWARD!
