(Drudge) DRAMA: Pence abruptly cancels event, stays in DC… (AP) Vice President Mike Pence has abruptly canceled a planned trip to New Hampshire, but the White House and his office refuse to say why.  White House spokesman Judd Deere said only that, “Something came up and the VP needed to be in D.C.,” adding: “there is no cause for alarm.” We Will find out why in a 'few weeks'... according to Mike Pence’s Chief of Staff Marc Short. Whatever! He was reportedly on Air Force Two, but it never took off. Hm! 

2. (Drudge) Putin calls urgent Kremlin summit…  after 14 Russian Sailors Die on Super Secretive Nuclear Submarine… reportedly in a fire, a mysterious submarine blast! Dang. (The Sun) He cleared his schedule following the tragedy. The announcement came at “exactly” the same time as Pence’s abrupt change of course, but it’s unclear whether the schedule changes were related. The Kremlin, like the White House, would not say the reason for the change of plans. (USNI News) “On July 1, 14 submariners – sailors – died in Russian territorial waters as a result of inhaling combustion products aboard a research submersible vehicle designated for studying the seafloor and the bottom of the World Ocean in the interests of the Russian Navy after a fire broke out during bathymetric measurements,” read a translation of the statement from the state-controlled TASS news service. The fire was extinguished “thanks to the self-sacrificing actions of the team,” Russian President Vladimir Putin said seven captains of the first rank and two Heroes of Russia have died in the incident. “This is a great loss,” Putin said. 

3. UPDATE: THIS MAY NOT BE TRUE: (Drudge) Trump Admin ENDS Effort to Add Citizenship Question to 2020 Census… (NY Times via MSN) The Trump administration said Tuesday that it had ordered the Census Bureau to start printing forms for the 2020 census without a question asking about citizenship, abandoning its quest to add the query after being blocked last week by the Supreme Court. SHAMEFUL GOVERNMENT. Just last week after the Supreme Court’s decision rejecting his stated reason for the question, which was for the purpose of enforcing a voting rights law, President Trump said he was asking his lawyers to delay the census, “no matter how long,” in order to fight for the question in court. The Census Bureau had said it had to begin printing questionnaires by July 1 to meet the April 2020 deadline for conducting the census. The libs wanted illegals to count themselves without fear of being reported to law enforcement. … UPDATE: TRUMP TWEETED LATER THIS MORNING THAT THIS WAS NOT TRUE! “FAKE!”

4. (Drudge) Judge blocks policy keeping asylum-seekers locked up… A female Clinton appointee, U.S. District Judge Marsha Pechman ruled Tuesday claiming, without evidence, that the Constitution demands that illegals coming here so-called seeking protection are entitled to bond hearings, to be released from custody. Liberal activist judges, SMH. Attorney General William Barr had announced in April that the government would no longer offer such hearings, but instead keep them in custody… seeking to deter the surge of illegals invading and overrunning our system. She claims so-called Fifth Amendment due process. The Un-American Civil Liberties Union, an evil organization, and the so-called Northwest Immigrant Rights Project sued to block the policy.

1. (Drudge) A Homeland Security Report Details Dire Conditions at Border Stations… in south Texas, warning of 'Dangerous overcrowding'... a day after Democrat female lawmakers toured. One senior manager at a detention facility called it a “ticking time bomb.” Inspector general Jennifer Costello warned of "serious overcrowding and prolonged detention of unaccompanied alien children, families, and single adults." Children at three of the five Border Patrol facilities had no access to showers and few spare clothes while two facilities had not provided hot meals, only sandwiches. Most single adults had not had a shower in a month and were being given wet-wipes. Some detainees were suffering from constipation after a diet consisting only of bologna sandwiches. 

   1. "No human being deserves to be treated like this," Senator Kamala Harris wrote on Twitter. "This is abuse, it's dehumanization, and it's not who we are as a country." (Kekekekeke) 

   2. "Sickening. Human beings are being herded like animals right now in our country," Senator Elizabeth Warren tweeted, while Senator Bernie Sanders wrote that those in charge of the detention centers "do not respect basic human rights." Wow, that’s rich, coming from a COMMIE! Mayor Pete Butigieg tweeted that he was "outraged by these photos," and Senator Corey Booker wrote that "this report is nothing short of horrific." AOC of course said migrants were being subjected to "systemic cruelty…. There is abuse in these facilities,” blah blah blah, and she lied about illegal alien women being told to drink out of the toilet. 

   3. DHS faces pressure to accept diapers, soap donations… (Roll Call) Sen. Ted Cruz is urging the Department of Homeland Security to establish procedures that would allow it and Customs and Border Protection to accept charitable donations of these items. President Donald Trump signed a $4.59 billion supplemental spending bill Monday to aid cash-strapped agencies struggling to house the invaders. But many Americans want to help and donate supplies, so Ted Cruz wants them to allow charities to get involved. 

2. I reported yesterday about AOC’s attacks on Border Patrol — just a reminder of her own #MeToo lies. (Drudge) She says: 'I WAS NOT SAFE'... InfoWars asks: HOAX 2.0? AOC CLAIMS BORDER PATROL AGENTS “SEXUALLY THREATENED” HER. Talking with a reporter after her visit, AOC said, “In that last facility, I was not safe from the officers in that facility.” I mentioned all this yesterday: The Washington Examiner reports two witnesses reported seeing Ocasio-Cortez “scream at federal law enforcement agents ‘in a threatening manner'” in front of a group of about 40. They were like, you need to step back lady. 

3. (Drudge) Iran says suspected U.S. spies face death sentences… WHOA, dang! (Reuters) Iranian military tribunal prosecutors are seeking the death penalty for several suspects arrested last year for spying for the United States in military and nuclear bodies. Iran said in August it had arrested "tens of spies" in state bodies, many of whom were dual nationals. In June, Iran said it executed a former contract employee of the defence ministry aerospace body on charges of spying for the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (the CIA). "Two of the defendants, who were not military, have received long prison terms.” said a judiciary spokesman.

Iran announced on Monday it had amassed more low-enriched uranium than permitted under a 2015 nuclear deal, a move denounced by President Donald Trump as "playing with fire" amid concerns about deepening U.S.-Iranian confrontation. How close are they to a bomb?  (CNBC) Iran is breaching its uranium stockpile limit under Obama’s 2015 Iran nuclear deal. Nuclear experts told CNBC this still leaves Iran a long way from having the capability to build a bomb.

1. (Drudge) Navy SEAL found NOT GUILTY of murdering ISIS fighter… Good. Daily Mail quotes him as saying: 'It's Independence Day': Navy SEAL Eddie Gallagher hugs his wife as he walks free after being found NOT GUILTY of murdering ISIS fighter despite being convicted of one war crime - posing with a corpse. Gallagher was accused of murdering a wounded 17-year-old militant in captivity in Mosul in 2017, and also accused of firing his weapon at innocent civilians in Iraq. The 40-year-old was convicted of posing with the corpse of an ISIS fighter - he is expected to be spared jail as the maximum sentence for the crime is four months and he spent longer in confinement awaiting trial. He said he was set up by a group of younger, less disciplined men who did not like his leadership style. The jury was made up of five Marines and two sailors, including one SEAL - the prosecution needed five of the seven jurors to convict. One of the SEALs, Corey Scott, who had been expected to testify for the prosecution took responsibility for killing the boy Gallagher was alleged to have murdered. Scott now faces perjury charges from the Naval prosecutors he blindsided - they say he made it up to protect Gallagher after being granted immunity for his own war crimes. Outside the court Tuesday Gallagher greeted the media alongside his wife and lawyers - he spoke briefly saying: 'I'm happy and I'm thankful.' Wow, amazing. SMH. 

2. (Drudge) Suicide rates at highest level since World War II… according to a new Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report, per Bloomberg's Cynthia Koons. (Axios) From 2000 to 2006, the suicide rate in the U.S. increased by an average of about 1% a year. From 2006 through 2016, it increased by 2% a year. There were 1.4 million suicide attempts in 2017 and 47,000 deaths. Despite an improvement of material well-being, emotional distress in the U.S. has reached "crisis levels," according to the CDC. They call it a “national mental health epidemic,” stemming from various causes, including "genetic, social, and environmental factors." It's reached the scale of "the global financial crisis" — and yet there is no groundwork in policy, manpower or in institutions to address it. 

   1. Also (Axios) The suicide rate for Americans aged 15 to 24 years old — the older half of Generation Z — is the highest it's been in at least 2 decades — that’s since at least 1999, according to Centers for Disease Control data. It’s up among males, for something called “all genders” (they don’t say “both genders,” because they like to sow confusion and degeneracy), and it’s up for females. The overall suicide rate for this age group has risen by 51% over the past decade. This has been accompanied by increased social media use, anxiety, depression and self-inflicted injuries among young adults and teens, according to a newly released study in the Journal of the American Medical Association. (Yeah, we all know not to trust the AMA, they got issues.) But it’s rising among women faster, even though it’s still higher among men: Suicide rates for Gen Z men have risen 45% since 2007, compared to 87% for women. 

      1. They claim that: The rise in suicide rates could be a result of more accurate reporting, with Americans more willing to label a death as suicide, according to the JAMA study. It could also be driven by changes in the use of opioids or the increased prevalence of depression in young people.

I got a comment from someone who referred to Honest Abe Lincoln as a “murderous tyrant” or something. He said Abraham Lincoln didn’t invade the South to free the black slaves, but even pretending that was the reason, that would still be wrong. He compares it to if California tried to secede in order to keep committing abortions (killing babies in the mothers’ wombs, depriving men of their reproductive rights, s/o Mark!) — he thinks that would be wrong to coerce and invade California to stop them from their continued mass murder and human rights atrocities committed by liberal women and beta males and so-called doctors in the form of abortions.

Piers challenged Trump on his denial of calling Meghan Markle “nasty.” “I wasn’t referring to her ‘she’s nasty,’ I said she was nasty about me, and essentially I didn’t know she was nasty about me,” but then followed with “I hope she’s doing a good job and enjoys her life.” He went on to say that this episode just shows how “terrible” the news media is. She pushes free college in he song, etc., and in the video it’s a gif where she’s flipping off the camera the whole time. (NOT KESHA, FIRST T. SWIFT, NOW KESHA? SHAMEFUL. I heard from our producer Miley Cyrus sang all about abortion in one song too.)

(Drudge) SMOLLET RETURNING TO 'EMPIRE'...  so said Variety, but Lee Daniels says: No He Isn't… Daniels was responding to a Variety report in which multiple production sources said that “Empire’s” writing staff was breaking ideas for the show’s sixth and final season with the expectation that Smollett would appear in the back half of the 18-episode season. (Hollywood Reporter) Variety had tweeted: “‘Empire’ Writers Prepping for Jussie Smollett’s Return in Season 6” (EXCLUSIVE). Lee replied on Twitter: “This is not factual.  Jussie will NOT be returning to Empire.”

   1. Back in March, Daniels posted an emotional video on social media in which he spoke about the "pain and anger" he has felt since Smollett was accused of a hate crime in January. Following the alleged hate crime hoax and subsequent arrest in Chicago, the actor did not appear on the show's final two episodes of the fifth season.

   2. Despite all 16 felony charges being dropped against Smollett and his record being wiped clean, his fate on the show has been unclear. Since last week's release of court records (in which cops said he’d been buying drugs) from Chicago's Cook County office, the case has raised further questions concerning how lawmakers handled the proceeding.

2. (Drudge) ISIS TERROR IN EBOLA ZONE… SMH. (Reuters) Islamic State claims deadly attack in east Congo’s Ebola zone. The bloodshed added to widespread insecurity that has hampered efforts to contain the second-worst Ebola epidemic on record. An official said 13 civilians were killed late on Monday in an attack by the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) - a group thought to be linked to ISIS. "The victims were killed by bullets and others by bladed weapons." ISIS claimed to killing or wounding 25 people. The number of Ebola cases hit 2,000 this week as the rate of infection accelerated. A Congo official said the latest violence was likely a response to a crackdown by the Congolese army last week that killed 26 ADF (/ISIS) members after they attacked an army position.

3. Speaking of terrible… (Drudge) Homelessness jumps 16% in the city of L.A.; Officials stunned…   'Unprecedented poverty manifesting itself'...  59,000 LIVE ON STREETS in L.A. County… Terrible! (KTLA) The majority of the homeless were found within the city of Los Angeles, which saw a 16% increase to 36,300, the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority said after its January count. (From 2017 to 2018 had seen a slight decrease after years of growth during Obama’s 2nd term.) Tents regularly pop up on the pavement outside nearby City Hill and hundreds of people live in makeshift shanties that line entire blocks in the notorious neighborhood known as Skid Row. The county's Homeless Services Authority said it helped 21,631 people move into permanent housing during 2018 — a pace that would have helped rapidly end homelessness if economic pressures had not simultaneously pushed thousands more out of their homes.

   1. (The Week) Despite an increase in spending on initiatives meant to get people off the streets, homelessness is up dramatically in Los Angeles and Los Angeles County, officials said Tuesday. Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti called the number "heartbreaking," and said the city recently invested $42 million to provide services and respond to public health concerns, including rats and giant trash heaps piling up around homeless encampments in downtown L.A.

1. (Drudge) CO City Becomes 'Second Amendment Sanctuary City'... (CBS Denver) Two months after Gov. Jared Polis signed the state’s “red flag” gun bill into law (which means a judge can take your guns away if someone reports you as being a danger to yourself or others), another Colorado community has declared itself a Second Amendment sanctuary city: Commerce City, Colorado! Five members on the Commerce City Council voted for the resolution Tuesday night, two voted against and two abstained from the vote. More than half of Colorado’s counties have adopted similar language which refuses to enforce the law that takes effect in January 2020, but most of those counties are in rural parts of the state that are Republican strongholds. Commerce City is the first city in the Denver metro area to adopt Second Amendment sanctuary status. It’s a blue collar community. “I fought for my country and I think people have the right to protect themselves and the citizens,” said Mayor Pro Tem Rick Teter. “You know, the way this world’s going, you’d better know what you’re doing, you’d better know how to protect yourself, because you never know when it’s going to change.”

If passed, Maine would join seven other states, including New Jersey this year, and Washington, D.C., with similar laws, according to the “Death With Dignity National Center” and the “Death With Dignity Political Fund.” A REPUBLICAN woman supports it! “I hope you will come down on the side of the terminally ill, people who don’t seem to be asking for too much: the right to choose their own end of life care,” said Republican State Sen. Marianne Moore. Republican Sen. Scott Cryway said he’s had relatives live for years longer than expected. He said, “There’s several instances like that where hope is everything. If we go and take this hope away, that’s what we’re doing when we push this button.”

At least 18 (filthy) states considered such legislation this year, including pending bills in such states as Delaware, Kansas, Iowa, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York and Rhode Island.In 1997, Oregon became the first state to provide an end-of-life option. California’s law went into effect in 2016.

In the final days of college, students devise a bucket list of classmates with whom they want to get cozy and submit it to a governing body, such as a student-designed website or computer program. 3. Meanwhile Universities nationwide remove historical artwork deemed offensive… (The College Fix) The censorship is getting wider in scope. Controversial historical figures like Christopher Columbus and Woodrow Wilson have consistently drawn student outrage and protest, as have Confederate monuments, but other more beloved figures like George Washington and Thomas Jefferson are also beginning to attract controversy.

   1. Perhaps the most prominent example has been the ongoing controversy over the Silent Sam statue at UNC. The statue was torn down at the beginning of this school year by a group of protesters. Subsequent protests also saw violence and an increased police presence on campus. The school’s compromise plan to create a history center was shot down by the Board of Governors, and it now appears that the statue will remain off of the school’s campus.

   2. Additionally, a student at North Carolina Central University toppled a Confederate statue on campus, and the University of Louisville moved a Confederate statue to a Civil War site in Brandenburg, Ky. In 2017, The College Fix reported on more than a dozen universities that took action to censor Confederate-era artwork.

   3. The Fraternal Order of Police want the DOJ to investigate her role in the decision not to prosecute.

1. I mentioned at the top of the hour that an unborn baby got legal rights in Alabama. A man filed a lawsuit in Madison County against Alabama Women’s Center for Reproductive Alternatives LLC in Huntsville. Ryan Magers says he’s the father of an unborn baby who was killed — but he did not want the woman to have the abortion, which took place Feb. 12, 2017. Magers, who is seeking a jury trial, said he wanted to keep the baby but the mother wanted an abortion. BTW: Alabama Supreme Court Justice Tom Parker called on the U.S. Supreme Court to revisit Roe v. Wade, the 1973 ruling that struck down laws prohibiting abortion in all 50 states.

(Fox News) Man admits killing Airbnb guest at home over unpaid $149 bill — A man in Australia admitted in court on Monday that he choked an Airbnb guest to death over an unpaid bill, but claims he's guilty of manslaughter instead of murder. Jason Colton, 42, is on trial for the October 2017 killing of 36-year-old Ramis Jonuzi at his house in Melbourne. Jonuzi agreed to $149 to stay an extra week, but didn’t pay. Colton  threw him against a wall and choked him with his arm before punching him unconscious. Jonuzi later died from compression of the neck and blunt force trauma. Before the confrontation turned violent, Colton forced Jonuz to check his bank account on his phone in order to show him that it "showed less than $10." Colton told police he only wanted to subdue Jonuzi so he would pass out. If he’s convicted of murder, he faces up to life in prison, whereas if it’s manslaughter, he faces up to 20 years.

2. (Drudge) Pet lion mauls owner to death in back yard… (BBC) In the Czech Republic, the late 33-y-o Michal Prasek owned the nine-year-old big cat and another lioness for breeding. His father found his body in the lion's cage, locked from the inside. Police shot both animals dead (they were in separate pens). A police spokesman said the shootings were "absolutely necessary for them to get to the man." He’d been fined for illegal breeding, and neighbors were concerned. They couldn’t remove it because he wouldn’t let anyone on the property, they had nowhere to put the animals, and there was no evidence of animal cruelty. Last year a cyclist ran into the lioness as she was on a walk on a leash with the man who’s now dead. After intervention by police, the incident was deemed a traffic accident. The mayor said, “Today's incident will perhaps finally help to resolve this long-term problem."

3. (Drudge) As pigs are delivered to slaughterhouse, activists offer water and comfort to the doomed… Bakersfield.com and L.A. Times tell the story of a Sunday night when a woman asked for 2 minutes from a big rig driver pulling out of Farmer John’s in Los Angeles. The driver sat while 60 animal rights activists swarmed the 18-wheeler’s double-decker livestock trailer. Baby boomers and millennials, black-clad anarchists and Patagonia-sporting Westsiders pushed water bottles through the trailer’s grates to the startled hogs. They sprayed water, gave massages and held water bottles to the animals, before they headed off to the slaughterhouse. Celebrities including Joaquin Phoenix show up to these “vigils” sometimes. The bassist for No Doubt called the sight of the pigs drinking water for the last time “heartbreaking.” They have the blessing of the Vernon Police Department and Farmer John because they’re not as aggressive and nasty as other radicals.

4. (Drudge) Town Proposes Dog Owners Jail Time For Nonstop Barking… (CBS NY) In New Jersey, the proposed ordinance in Saddle River would prohibit loud, continuous barking for over 20 minutes during the day, from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., and more than 15 minutes at night, from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Officials say the barking disrupts the “comfort or repose of anyone in the vicinity.” Dog owners who break the new rules could face fines ranging between $100 and $1,000, but owners could also receive a sentence of community service or even prison time. A judge in each case would decide on the penalty. The public hearing and vote in Saddle River is March 18.

(Drudge) Senator Reveals She Was Raped While in Air Force… (Reuters) U.S. Senator Martha McSally, the first female combat pilot in the U.S. Air Force, said on Wednesday she had been raped by a superior officer but did not report it because she blamed herself and did not trust the system. The AZ Republican said at a Senate hearing on “sexual assault” in the military, "The perpetrators abuse their position of power in profound ways, and in one case I was preyed upon and then raped by a superior officer. But unlike so many brave survivors, I didn't report being sexually assaulted. Like so many women and men, I didn't trust the system. I blamed myself. I was ashamed and confused. I thought I was strong but felt powerless.” She did not identify her attacker.

2. (Fox News) Plane passenger throws 'hissy fit,' causes 5-hour flight delay over meal – A business class passenger said  'If I don’t get fish, there will be a problem.' And there was a problem on the Air Canada cross-country flight from Vancouver to Toronto over the weekend. He became “disruptive” saying he couldn’t eat meat or gluten. A witness said the flight attendant offered several meal choices but the customer became “very belligerent, very rude to the flight attendant,” but did not appear to be drunk. “He was very calm and was like, 'If I don’t get fish, there will be a problem. One way or another, I will get my fish, either you serve it to me or I will serve it to myself.'” The plane had to go back to the gate and the man was removed from the flight. "The pilot came on the radio and said, 'Due to this delay of having to come back to the gate, the co-pilot and I have tapped out on our hours and we need to get you new pilots to get you to Toronto.’” “#fishgate” left passengers unable to board the flight until 7:30 p.m. – over five hours after their originally scheduled 2 p.m. flight.
